Sweet Dreams!

Andrew loves his bedtime story. He loves it when I read to him and let him feel all the pages and turn them for me! It's so cute how he shuts the book at the end of the story!

Mommy and Andrew Sittin' in a Tree

As you may have noticed I rarely have any pictures of Andrew and I together since I am always the one taking the pictures. Chad never thinks to pick up camera unless I ask him to take a picture. My friend from college, Cal, came to stay with us last night and had told me before he came that his friends call him the Paparazzi because he takes so many pictures. Well- he is right...he was snapping pictures from the time he got here until right at bedtime!! I never thought I would find someone who was more obsessed with pictures than me!!

My Alligator!

Giving Andrew a bath ( changing his diaper and getting him dressed) is probably comparable to wrangling an alligator. He is slippery and fights me like a crazy man. He tries to climb in the tub before I am ready for him or have his clothes off, he won't sit down in the tub, then tries to climb out the whole time and screams. Once I do get him out, he of course screams and wants back in. I also have to bring 2 washcloths with me to the tub because he steals mine and wants to suck all the water out of it. The teething is out of control- this kid puts everything in his mouth as you can see in the pictures.

Sneaky Boy!

Andrew has discovered the air vents all over the house. He loves to stick his little fingers in them...which makes me very nervous that they'll get stuck! He also loves to lay his face on them when the air is blowing out....this is what our dog used to do!! He also has discovered door stoppers, so I have removed the ones he's found. Childproofing here we come!!

Chef Andrew

Andrew had the best time playing with metal bowls and his plastic spoons today. He entertained himself for almost an hour with these things. My friend Caroline had the metal bowl idea and I copied it!!!......Andrew loved seeing his reflection, something shiny and hearing the noises the spoons made hitting on the metal!

Andrew wants to walk so badly and says crawling is for babies!! I didn't plan for them to match in these pictures- we aren't that cheesy!

9 Months

Andrew is 9 months old today. We went to the doctor for his checkup...he was 18 pounds 13 ounces and 29 inches! He is healthy and excelling in his motor skills!! That's my boy!

Happy Anniversary!

Chad and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary this week, and went out ALONE while Mimi babysat!!!! We went to dinner at Saint John's Meeting Place (Mommy got buzzed on the Mohito's!), and went to see Knocked Up (Hilarious!- especially with alcohol on board!) We had a nice night together, and Andrew did just fine without us.

Growing Up Too Fast!

Mimi is here visiting us, and helping me out soooo much (thank you Mimi!) You can see in the pictures how wild Andrew has become. He will not set still- he is either climbing up someone or something, crawling around, pulling up on something, or finding something to get into-eat! While Mimi has been here this weekend Andrew has gotten a new tooth (his top right), learned to drink from a straw, cruised furniture, learned to stand up in his crib, and eaten lots of different foods that Mimi has fed him!! We had to lower the crib all the way down, and he still will not lay down in it- but at least he can't jump out now. He wouldn't take a nap all day today because every time I lay him down, he wants to do his new trick and stand back up, then he can't figure out how to get back down and cries. It has been a tough weekend, but lots of fun!!

Daddy's Home!

When Chad gets home from work, Andrew gets so excited! He gives Chad the biggest smile, and they get some play time in before bed. Chad makes Andrew giggle and Andrew gets on top of Chad and attacks him! They are best buds!

Andrew Loves Becky!

My best friend from college, Becky, came to visit us in Chattanooga!! Andrew isn't sure about a lot of people now but loved Becky! She carried him around and played with him so I could get some things done...a huge help by the way, and he never fussed. Well, he did get mad when she wouldn't quit kissing his belly but that was nothing! Chad was a great husband and watched Andrew so we could go out to dinner (PF Changs- my favorite), then we went for pedicures and lunch today! Andrew loves quality time with his daddy anyways!

Bozo the Clown!

All of a sudden Andrew has developed crazy hair! It is growing more and more every day and getting curly! Chad had adorable curly brown hair as a child so I guess this is where he is getting it from. Chad says he looks like Bozo the Clown because it flips up all around his ears!!

Wild Man

Andrew has turned into a wild and crazy baby. He will not sit still for a second and is climbing on, in and over everything. This is him climbing into the rocker and trying to get back out. Check out the teeth in the bottom picture!!!

Preppy Boy!

Doesn't Andrew look so cute in his little plaid pants?? I tried this outfit on him a few weeks ago and it was too big, but today it was too tight- the pants were cutting into his fat little tummy!

Andrew and I went to visit our old neighbors from Traceside! Andrew was very good despite not having a nap all afternoon. We enjoyed our visit and ished we could have stayed longer!

Time to be an Aunt!

Chad, Andrew and I went to Nashville this weekend, and I got to spend some time with my family. Me, my sister and her kids went to the pool while my mom kept Andrew! I had 2 hours to spend at the pool without my child! I was able to spend some time alone with my niece and nephew and get some cute pictures. They are both little posers!! Aren't they adorable?!?!
