Beach Trip

Okay, get ready for lots of pictures! We took Andrew on his first beach trip (and ours in 3 years) to Seacrest Florida. My mother-in-law went along to help out and it was a good thing, since my child didn't want to leave his "beach house" the entire time. He could take or leave the pool and was only interested in the beach for about 10 minutes the first day. I had to make him go out there with my just to get pictures! The condo was filled with  great kids toys, books, puzzles, etc, so Andrew thought it was Christmas! He wanted to lay in bed and watch movies at night so he mostly relaxed the entire trip!

                                                           Playing catch with Daddy

"catching" the ball with his eyes closed

Thanking Grandma for buying him a new ball and scooter toy

Throwing "rocks" (seashells) in the ocean

Running around with his "hula hoop" Never actually used this in the water!

The most he would get in the pool

After running away from us on the beach because he wanted to go "home"

                 Movie-snuggle time with Daddy
Grandma bought him a new book (he insisted on a shark encyclopedia) instead of a toy!

                                            Gotta love maternity bathing suites!

This is what he did the ENTIRE trip!!
Where to start........so many toys! This condo was a little boys dream! It was like it was meant for my 2 year old (Thomas, Spider Man, Cars, tractors and trucks)

OK, so you weren't kidding when you said he just wanted to hang inside the whole time!! Sorry he didn't like the water more, but I'm sure it was still nice to just get away!

glad yall had fun. the pics are great and i love his fish shirt! guess you won't be taking him to the pool much this summer since all of a sudden he hates the water. that's crazy. i hope you got some good relaxation time to yourself.

GREAT pictures, even if he wasn't a beach and water fan! At least he knows what he likes and what he doesn't! I will call you tomorrow - sorry I didn't tonight.
