Mornin' Sunshine

Every morning my kids get up super early. Sometimes (a lot of times) it's even before the sun has came up over the mountains. One of my favorite things is to sit on the screened in porch, drink my coffee, watch the sun come up and listen to my little boys play fight over toys. Some morning Andrew will surprise me and sleep in so I get some quiet time alone with my little Carty. 

Best toy ever! I bought this for Andrew when he was 2 and obsessed with helping me make/drink my coffee. Thankfully Carter has the same obsession and this keeps him busy for at least 20 minutes (longer than anything else).

Sliding down the big hill at Renaissance Park. Andrew shocked me and was fearless! Carter sat in my lap and I felt like a big kid again going down the hills! Carter vomited the whole way home..... thought we'd never be coming back there again until we realized it was actually a 10 day GI bug that was going to attack my boys and make me slightly insane.

I found Carter like this and had to take a picture. He said he hurt his bottom and needed an ice pack! This is the one Chad uses for his neck and knee so we just placed it back in the freezer and pretended this didn't happen!

Andrew has become an awesome swimmer and is even doing cannon balls!

 Went bowling with the boys and this was Carter's first time. We were with several friends and Carter actually beat everyone's scores!

He then went to play arcade games and won the jackpot (5000 tickets) on his first try! Should've taken the boy to Vegas! I love how he just layed down and waited for his tickets to come out!

Nashville

We went to visit Mimi in Nashville last week and has so much fun hanging out with Merrick and McKenzie! My mom, sister and I got to have some fun alone time (thanks to Uncle Charlie) and the kids got to have a dance party-sleepover!

 What are the odds that my sister and I would buy matching dogs the same week without even talking about it?!?! Zoe and Daisy were best friends at first sight! I've never seen 2 animals so eager and happy to play with one another. They were inseperable!

 As if Carter didn't think Uncle Charlie was cool enough before, he had to trade his police car in for a motorcycle!!!!! Carter was swooning!

Who better to be handcuffed too?? Let's pray this kid never get's in this situation again!

Brazilian Ju Jitsu

 Andrew has been wanting to do "karate" for over a year now. I finally signed him up after we finished basketball and baseball season and he couldn't be happier. His buddy, Alex, is the only other kid signed up so it's pretty much a private lesson. They turn into little goofballs when they're together so this has been a great challenge of their attention span and listening skills!
