Happy Birthday Beau!!!

My best friend, Dee-Dee's little boy turned 2 Saturday, so we went to Nashville for his party. She and I worked together when I lived there, but they now live in Louisiana.....sooooo far away. We have been friends for about 5-6 years, and I have been there for the birth of both of her kiddos. She came to Chattanooga for Andrew's 1st birthday party, and I have always come to her kids parties. One of those friends who will always be there for you!! We haven't seen each other since November, so I was super excited, and we all had a great time!!

My sister and Merrick babysat Andrew so Chad and I could go out on a date! They got to enjoy some fun playtime before bed, and they both had a blast. I loved watching Merrick hug on Andrew and say, "your such a cute little baby and you're so sweet. I wish you lived here so I could play with you all the time"!! I also loved seeing the way Andrew watches Merrick and smiles, like he wishes he could be like him one day!! Thanks for babysitting, and we wish we could be there more often to play too!

Spring Fling

I was so glad Chad came along with me to Nashville, for many reasons, but mostly because I got to spend quality time with my niece and nephew while he had Andrew! Saturday afternoon was Merrick's Spring Fling at school, and I had a great time watching the kids have fun and get their faces painted!

Soccer Star

Every time I have gone to one of Merrick's soccer games, I have had Andrew with me. Chad watched him this time so I could enjoy the game and take some pictures! Merrick is the team captain and even got to name them....the Wolves!! The game was at 8am on Sat. and it was freezing outside. We were all bundled up in blankets since none of us dressed appropriately! Merrick shakin' his booty and being silly!!

Neighborhood Buddies!

Last week we enjoyed the nice weather and stayed outside most of the day. Andrew had fun playing with all of his friends on our street, especially Kate!! They get along really well and we even catch them hugging and kissing when we're not looking! Looks like we have a little romance in the works! My dad and Chad built this swing set for Andrew and I'm sure my dad's watching us and is so happy that it's bringing Andrew and his friends so much joy!

Photographer.....I Wish!!

I had a little photo session with my boy today right by our house. There's a big pile of rocks that he loves to play on, so I decided to get him all dressed up and take some pictures. He is just so darn cute that he can't take a bad picture!!




He picked this little flower and it looked to sweet in his tiny little hands......then he ate it!!!!

Playgym

Andrew and I go to playgym every Monday and have been for the past 9 months or so. Our good friend Caroline and her daughter Amelia are in our class too. She and Andrew have always been buddies and this past week, Amelia's daddy, Paul was there to take some pictures. Everything moves so fast in the class that I never have time to take any pictures, so I'm so excited to have these!!
