Around Here

Not too much going on around here, just enjoying time with my little boys. Andrew is hilarious and has become my little helper recently. He's so easy to take care of these days and besides the occasional tantrum, he's just my little buddy! Carter is getting over a double ear infection which kept us from going to Nashville this weekend. Chad was on call, Carter was fussy and refusing to sleep day or night and I spent way too much time at the peds office and pharmacy with them. He got his third tooth today (the top left broke through the skin), went from laying on his tummy to sitting up all by himself and did the army crawl to go get books!!!! Lots of big accomplishments for my sweet baby boy! I forgot how much of a big deal these little things were to me when Andrew did them and I'm so fortunate that I get to stay at home with my boys and be here for all the new milestones! They're both growing up way too fast.

Every time I can't find Andrew, I go in the kitchen and there he is, up on the barstool by himself with a spoon and my leftover b'day cake.
New $80 skooter I had to buy to make up for canceling the Nashville trip. He was seriously devastated and crying his little eyes out.... but everyone has a price!!! Please excuse his "outfit", he did this himself.

We had a little baby play date at Caroline's so we could take pictures of all the sweet naked babies on the mirror. I think it's so funny how we had a blonde, redhead and a brunette....... all equally  adorable!

My mom came for my birthday and they kids loved having her here.... so did I!!!!! Andrew turns into such a helpless baby when she's here, but when he gets busy beating something up she gets in some snuggle time with her little Carty!

My Happy Day!

My mom was here all weekend for my birthday and she was sweet enough to take Andrew to WalMart to buy me some presents from him and Carter. They got me a Sesame Street ball, Max and Ruby movie, tulips, coffee mug, a sweet card, and best of all a Little Mermaid cake. Andrew had been telling me for weeks that he wanted to get me a cake, but I had no idea that my mom had pre-ordered it and had them write, Happy Birthday to Mommy on it, so sweet!! Nothing like having my mom here to spoil me on my birthday. Thanks for everything mom!

My Sweet Valentines!

Here are my boys opening their Valentine presents. I don't really have one of Andrew, as soon as he opened his new movie, he took off running to the DVD player. Carter "gave" him a new little wallet, so here he is hugging him and saying thank you! Carter got a bunch of teething toys because that seems to consume him these days, he was cramming them in his mouth before Becky could even get them out of the box.

And Baby Makes Three...

We babysit baby Tyler this weekend so his Mommy and Daddy (our neighbors David and Shanon) could have a date night. He was so good and fit right in with our little boys, Andrew even wanted to keep him! He said that he liked this baby better than Carter and wanted him to stay, we didn't tell Carter this part. Andrew screams whenever Carter touches his lovies or his blanket but he wanted Tyler to sleep in his bed, to cover him up with his blanket and let him have his lovies, what in the world??  I think he held Tyler more than he's ever held his baby brother.

I just can't get enough of these sweet boys! Here they are playing together in the bath tub. Well, Andrew was teasing Carter with a toy to be mean but Carter just thought it was funny that Andrew kept grabbing it away!

Man in the Mirror

I have pictures of Andrew at 6 months sitting on a mirror so I wanted to do the same for Cart. My friend Caroline bought the mirror and set it up so I could take the pictures. The babies were so good and very patient with this camera happy momma!

Babies R Us

There's nothing sweeter than 2 little happy adorable babies playing together! Carter and his buddy Hudson got to play together at our house yesterday, they could hardly contain their excitement (seriously) and were trying to hold each others hands and lay on each other! They are both so laid back and sweet, can't wait to watch these boys grow up together.

My friend Bonnie talked me into taking the boys with us to get pedicures. I thought it was going to be a disaster but they were so good. They just sat on our laps, played and babbled...... I could have never done that with Andrew as a baby. We took them to lunch and they looked so big siting there in their highchairs. They were probably thinking, enough with the pictures and chit chat mom, feed me already!
