Boo in the Zoo

 We took the boys to Boo in the Zoo this weekend and we all had such a good time! As soon as we walked in there were Star Wars characters... and I'm not talkin' cheesy Star Wars, this was like little boy heaven. The costumes were fantastic and Andrew's favorite of them all (Darth Maul) was even there. I've never seen my boy so fascinated, this was like Disney for him! Carter loved the other characters (Spongebob, Dora, Scooby) and wanted to hug all of them.

Walking Bridge

Even though we've lived in Chattanooga for over 5 years now, we just finally took a stroll on the beautiful walking bridge. Last weekend was perfect weather so we packed up the boys and their scooters and headed downtown. They both got a little lazy on the walk but it was really intended to be wearing them out for bedtime so mission accomplished!

Nature Center Fall Festival

 Last weekend was one of my favorite evens to go to in
Chattanooga during the Fall.... the Nature Center's Fall Festival. After all of the games, candy, horseback riding, smore toasting and face painting, we headed home to put Carter to bed so Andrew and I could go back out. This year he was finally old enough where I thought he would enjoy the outdoor movie there. So, my little date and I went back, snuggled up under a blanket together, ate Oreos and watched The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown under the stars! It was such a special time and now I can't wait for Carter to be old enough to join us!            

More Pumpkin Patch With Friends

So, that same day that we were at the Pumpkin Patch in the last post, when the girls all left, our old neighbors (good friends) Kelli and Chad met us there with their 3 kiddos. They live right by there now and we rarely see them so this was a treat for us! Their sweet baby Griffin was a trooper while the big kids played and ran around.

Pumpkin Patch Playground

Last week we met some friends at the Playground on Signal so my boys could run out some energy. Andrew's friends Hannah, Lilli (and now baby Cooper!) met us there to play. The girls were like little mommas with Carter and were actually a huge help for me in that maze of a playground. As the big kids went to slide down the giant slide, I stayed back with Carter and Cooper (who was asleep in the stroller).  Carter ran off once her realized what they were going to do, and I couldn't leave the baby to chase him down and pushing a stroller through mulch wasn't happening. I just yelled to my friend Rachelle to watch him and he climbed the ladder and went down that slide like it was a Little Tikes baby slide! Chad would have had a heart attack!!!
