So my crazy little man turned 3 and requested a fire truck "whoo whoo" party. After buying all the stuff he decided he wanted it to be a Hulk Smash party but I quickly vetoed that one! I tried to make this day fun and all about Carter but I have to admit.... I get pretty darn excited about paper goods and party planning!
The Etsy seller that I used was fantastic! She was super fast with her responses and very reasonable. I was able to buy the rights to all of the files and print everything on my own.
Another company that I'm absolutely crazy about is
Shop Sweet Lulu. Both times I placed an order, it shipped the next day and I received it the day after that! They have the best party products ever and are super affordable! Even the packaging is fabulous, it was like opening a Christmas present but better, full of paper shred, twine and even a little candy treat!!!!
The gifts for the little firefighters!
The cake turned out exactly like we wanted and tasted delicious! I let Carter search some images of fire truck cakes and this was what he picked.
The polka dot plates, napkins, cups and balloons were all from
Shop Sweet Lulu

Here comes the birthday boy! Arriving in style on the gator with Daddy
The other guest of honor..... the firemen!!!
The firemen were so sweet to all of the kids and even brought a row of sticker "badges" for everyone! Carter immediately stuck one on his new shirt I had made for him and it wouldn't come off without ruining the applique :-( Okay, right, the party isn't about me!
Our neighborhood firemen! The new station that the just built across the street from us just happens to be station No. 3! I've been visiting them about once a week (and just happen to bring cookies and cupcakes with me) these past few months and I may or may not have been sucking up a little!
He actually got a little embarrassed when we sang to him!
Present time! Best present ever..... a slingshot from the Watson's. I will get you guys back!
