Fun at the Park!

Today we went to a "real" park for the first time!! We went with Andrew's friends Kate and Caitlyn, and Andrew had a great time. He was so relaxed in the swing that he actually fell asleep for about 30 minutes. We are going to have to invest in one of these at our house!!

Farmer Boy!

Who can resist a little boy in overalls?!?! These were his cousin Merrick's when he was a baby!

Meltdown

Obviously, my child had had enough with the picture taking. He also hated sitting in the grass- it is dead and prickly..I will have to give him that. You can see that I even tried putting a blanket underneath him and it didn't help!

Cutie Pie!!

Andrew has become quite the little poser!! Isn't he just so cute?!?!

Swinging!!

Andrew got in a swing for the first time today!! I have been wanting to get him one, but we don't have a tree to tie it onto. Today we went to the ghetto-shady playground at the campground by our house. The swing was filthy and crooked (you can see Andrew is leaning to the right), but he still loved it. That's the nice thing about being a kid- as long as it's fun who cares what it looks like!!! Tomorrow we will visit a "real" park if the weather is nice!

Turtle Power!

Andrew looked so cute today in his turtle outfit!!

He is not trying to poop in this picture- he is just blowing bubbles.

Bootylicious!

I know Andrew will kill me when he gets bigger if he finds out I put naked pictures of him on the internet, but his little booty is just too cute to not share it!

Dinnertime!!

Andrew loves his mealtimes and cries if I am not shoveling food in fast enough! This is him after dinner last night- he had #2 Vegetable Beef for the first time and loved it!

Leap Pad

Aunt Adrienne bought Andrew a Baby Leap Pad for Christmas, and I just decided to break it in today. He loved hearing it talk and make sounds but mostly wanted to eat. He was drooling on the pages so I had to put it away. I think I may need to wait until he is a little older (he is 7 months tomorrow!!!) I didn't realize the babies got sick of their toys so quickly- I thought it was only bigger kids who did this. He throws everything I hand him now, but loves to play with things he never gets to...like the phone, remote, keys, etc. (Things he can break or get hurt with) I think I am going to have to invest in some new toys this weekend!

The Conductor

Our neighbors from Nashville bought Andrew this toy for Christmas, and he absolutely loves it!! The little bear conductor moves around in circles while the "band" is playing music, and Andrew is fascinated by his movement. He loves to try to eat it- which makes it stop going and makes Andrew cry!

Easter Bunny!!

Today is Andrew's first Easter!! He looks so precious all dressed up! Andrew's favorite part of his outfit is his shoes and shoestrings- he loves to untie the laces! He was such a wonderful boy today!

Happy Easter!!

Chad and I took Andrew to church ( in the freezing cold) today. He was wearing his adorable romper....or a dress as Chad likes to call it!! He was very good during the service. He chewed on the bulletin the first half then fell asleep on Chad's shoulder the rest of the time- It was so sweet. I was so proud of Andrew, there were 3 other parents who had to get up and leave with their babies. A guy walked by me (in the back row ready to get up and leave when Andrew started screaming) and whispered "You have a good baby". Soooo proud of my boy(s)!!

The Master's!!

Andrew and Chad have been glued to the TV this weekend watching the Master's (this is a golf thing with all the best players- for you women like me who didn't know). Andrew kept watching Chad take a drink of his beer and Chad though Andrew needed a drink of his own. He was right- they were like two peas in a pod drinking their beer and pear juice!!

Silly Goose!

Our little boy has become quite the handful....and he isn't even really mobile yet. We are going to be in trouble when this kid starts walking. I let him drink some of my Gatorade out of the cap today. He flipped it up onto his nose and couldn't get it off! It was hilarious, and Andrew thought so too after he saw me laughing. He held his bottle for the first time today. I kept wondering why wasn't yet, then I realized it was probably because we use the big Dr. Brown bottles (they are really long). I gave him an Avent and he just grabbed right onto it and wouldn't let go! He also tried to crawl today!! He got up on his knees and moved himself with his elbows- I think this was some sort of arm crawl?? Maybe just a fluke- he is only 6 1/2 months, but it was cute anyways. He also will not stay put anymore. He will roll all over the room and will not lay still for a diaper change! I am sure the fun is just beginning, so I shouldn't start complaining just yet!!
