Buddies Burgers and Bubbles

Our friends/neighbors had us over for a cookout Sunday night. Andrew is thrilled at any chance to play with their daughter, Ella, so he was just as excited as we were. We had lots of fun watching the kids run around playing "golf" and had some great food! Thanks for having us over (Andrew was still talking about when he woke up this morning)!
My son had to jump in their family photo!

Could she be any cuter? She poses like this on her own!

Spring Cleaning

Chad decided to clean out the garage yesterday and as he did so, Andrew had to get out (and play with) all of his things for some driveway fun! He also liked helping Daddy sweep the garage and eat popsicles while doing so! He stripped down and demanded swimming shorts when he saw his kiddie pool. He put his chair in it and told us that he was at the beach......soon enough!! After getting his "sunscream and hat" he was ready for some lounging in the sun!

Gotta love a little toddler crack, he has the flattest little hiney!

A Day With Thomas

Chad and I bought tickets a while back for A Day With Thomas. We chose not to tell Andrew so he would be surprised when we got there. We did tell him all day that he was going on a special trip with Mommy and Daddy, so he was all about this "trip". Being my child and all, he does require a little notice and has to be pumped up before he does new things, so we told him while we were in the car that we were gonna see Thomas! He was so happy and kept saying "I'm so excited!" It was a very hot day and preggo momma wasn't feeling so well, so I didn't enjoy myself as much as normally would have. Andrew loved seeing Thomas but wasn't too trilled about the train ride (the most expensive part of the whole excursion). He loved seeing Sir Topham Hatt and wanted him to "carry him". Thank goodness we saw him last because he melted down when we had to leave him and let other kids have a turn. On a side note, this guy who worked there was taking pictures of the kids with Topham Hatt and apparently wanted you to buy his instead of taking your own. He wouldn't move out of my way and his arm was in  of my pictures..Ugh. The most exciting part of the day (the part Andrew keeps talking about) seems to be the golf cart ride to and from the car (preggo momma wasn't feelin' like walking) Isn't that how it always goes?

Enough About Us

I know this blog is usually all about Andrew (and myself) but I just have to show off my niece and nephew on this post. Andrew and I went to Nashville for the weekend and had a great time. We got to spend lots of time just playing and spending time with my family. He and Merrick are best buddies and play so well together. Poor McKenzie gets left out a lot, but she's a great sport about it all. I love watching mine and my sisters kids running around together, it's what I've always wanted! The thought of 4 of them running around in the years to come is crazy to me, I hope they're always as close as they are now!

                                                Playing in my makeup
So glad my child was introduced to fighting with light sabers!
This is gonna be my life with 2 boys!
Aunt Adrienne gave Andrew Merricks old Gameboy, so now he can veg out too!

He is an awful driver, can't believe she rode with him!
Gotta love livin' in the country and not having to wear pants!

My sister has a side to her that not many know about, she loves 4 wheelers, go karts, etc

He wants to be just like Merrick
another perk of country livin'...peeing in the yard!
                                                        An accident waiting to happen
Wonder who he's pretending to be?!?!

Happy Easter

Chad and I took Andrew to the clubhouse for Easter brunch today and enjoyed playing around getting some pictures on such a beautiful day! One of my neighbor/friends was there with her family too, and Andrew had fun playing with her little girl. She's actually almost 5 so, watching/hearing them play was pretty funny.

Caroline  "Andrew, let's play follow the leader. You do whatever I do, like when I run and jump"
Andrew  "Look at my new Storm Troopers from the neaster bunny"
He is such a BOY and I love it!!

I know I look like a cow, no comments please, especially from my sister!

"Neaster" Basket

Andrew couldn't wait to find his "neaster" basket this morning when he woke up. I apparently went overboard when filling it up because half way through pulling out his loot he said, "that's enough, I'm all finished" and stopped looking in the basket!! I think it's so funny how he takes everything out and then stacks it in a pile, then wants it all back in. He kept everything in the basket all day and even wanted things left in the wrappers/boxes. I told Chad he's going to be like the 40 year old virgin who still has his figurines in their original boxes when he's an adult......mean of me to say I know! He was thrilled to get the Toy Story movie (he didn't want to watch it, only keep it in it's case in the basket) and his Star Wars Storm Trooper, these were the only things he actually asked for. It was so much fun watching him get so excited, made me feel like a kid all over again!

I love the way his sweet little face looks when he first wakes up!
                                                  his Star Wars guys
New stamps so he can be like "Mr. Keith" (my LG friends will understand this)

                            The Golden Eggs............Spiderman!!
