Family Fall Day

We took the boys up on the mountain to Andrew school for some Fall pictures. It's so beautiful up there right now and the leaves have already fallen and changed color. We met our friends, Chad and Kelli with their kids and got some pictures of them too!

Boo at the Zoo

This was our second year going to Boo at the Zoo, and oh how things have changed since last year! I didn't even know I was pregnant with Carter and Andrew was still a little toddler. This year Andrew was running around shooting webs and I was pushing my almost 4 month old, wow!! Andrew got to go on a hunt seeing all of his favorite characters, ride a pony, jump in a bouncer, play games, see the animals, ride the carousel and get candy! Carter just slept the whole time and was a perfect baby, as usual! When we were leaving, Chad asked me how much coffee I had drank because I was so hyper and talking a lot. I hadn't had any, I was just so excited to be there with my 2 healthy happy boys, watching Andrew have so much fun and loving the beautiful Fall night with my family! Cheesy I know, but true!

Pumpkin Heads..... and Bellies!!

The boys and I went to my friend Caroline's house to decorate pumpkins. Amelia is a few months younger than Andrew and Ava is a few months older than Carter. The all play SO well, so Caroline and I really got to enjoy our time. Andrew was more interested in watching his Harry Potter movies (that he brought with him) and Amelia wanted to paint herself and her Mommy! Andrew and Ava were so cute together but spent most of the time napping... ahhh nap time! We had so much fun with them, thanks so much for letting us make the mess at your house!

They're holding hands!

Come on, get a little close Carter, I won't bite!
This was right before she pulled him down with her and they were laying on top of each other!

Gotta love the tattoo!  It says Andrew, if you can't tell

Scrub a Dub

Andrew has been asking to take a bath with Carter since he first came home from the hospital. He has tried putting Carter's baby bath tub in the big bath but it left no room for himself to fit! I told him we would have to wait until Carter could sit up... until I found this neat little bath seat recliner thing. Carter's head is still propped up out of the water but his body is in and he loves it. They were both so happy to be taking a bath together, I can't believe how much more they interact now. Every time Carter looks at Andrew, he starts babbling and laughing at him, this makes Andrew laugh and then they both just sit there being silly. Chad and I are loving watching them become best friends!

Andrew "eating" Carter's baby toes (wonder where he gets this from!)

Make New Friends but Keep the Old.....

Our old friends from Residency in Nashville came to stay with us this weekend. Reza, was Chad's first friend he met during his first week of Residency and he's been with us through our entire relationship. His wife, Molly was a Resident as well and they now live in Charlotte and have a 2 year old, Lucas. I haven't seen them since their wedding (I was pregnant with Andrew), so I was so excited for their visit and for our kids to meet each other. Andrew and Lucas became instant buddies and played really well together. Lucas loved baby Carter and is gonna be a big brother himself in April! We had such a great time talking about the past and bragging on our children, I can't wait to go visit them when their new baby gets here!

Chad spiked Andrew's hair.... don't ask me why?

That's what I call Teamwork!

Toy Story

On Friday, one of our favorite toy stores had a grand opening of a new location at hamilton place. It opened at 10, so we go there on time to meet friends and there was already a line outside around the building! Dora and Elmo were there and my kid was itching to get to the front to see them and ask them to "carry me and hold me" I told him that they were strangers and he insisted (screamed) that they were not and that he knew them both very well from TV. He pretty much harrassed and followed Elmo around the store the entire hour we were there.... but it did give me time to shop!

Yep, his feet are off the ground!
Playing with Noah, Kate and Meg
Maggie holding Carter for me, I was a little stressed and my friends helped me through it!
