Baby Shower at Chad's Office

Let me start by saying, Thank You Thank You Thank You so much to the wonderful girls who gave me this shower at Chad's office. His nurses, Brooke and Nicole, went out of their way to make it a special day for not only Chad and I , but Andrew too! The decorations were so cute and Nicole even made me a beautiful diaper cake (I never had one of those with Andrew)!!!! They had food from my FAVORITE place to eat (Food to Order) and an amazing cake from the Cake Gallery. It was chocolate with cream cheese frosting and a vanilla custard in the middle (I can't even describe how yummy it was). So many staff members were able to be there and I couldn't believe all of the wonderful gifts I got for Carter and myself! Lots of necessities (burp cloths, pacifiers, lotion, wash, diapers) and lots of cute fun stuff (clothes, picture frames, toys, books) and a beautiful bracelet for me!! I had just seen the same bracelet the day before on my friend and told her how much I like it...I couldn't believe when I got the same one! You can add charms to it and she had a baby carriage one on it already for me!! As if all of this wasn't enough, Andrew was absolutely spoiled by these girls! He kept saying it was his birthday and you would have thought it was. They gave him so many books, coloring and activity books, markers and crayons, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, you name it, he felt so special too! I just can't say enough about how much this meant to me, and how honored it made me feel that these girls care this much about me and my family! Thank you again and please know that I am so grateful for what you did for me!

Beach Trip

Okay, get ready for lots of pictures! We took Andrew on his first beach trip (and ours in 3 years) to Seacrest Florida. My mother-in-law went along to help out and it was a good thing, since my child didn't want to leave his "beach house" the entire time. He could take or leave the pool and was only interested in the beach for about 10 minutes the first day. I had to make him go out there with my just to get pictures! The condo was filled with  great kids toys, books, puzzles, etc, so Andrew thought it was Christmas! He wanted to lay in bed and watch movies at night so he mostly relaxed the entire trip!

                                                           Playing catch with Daddy

"catching" the ball with his eyes closed

Thanking Grandma for buying him a new ball and scooter toy

Throwing "rocks" (seashells) in the ocean

Running around with his "hula hoop" Never actually used this in the water!

The most he would get in the pool

After running away from us on the beach because he wanted to go "home"

                 Movie-snuggle time with Daddy
Grandma bought him a new book (he insisted on a shark encyclopedia) instead of a toy!

                                            Gotta love maternity bathing suites!

This is what he did the ENTIRE trip!!
Where to start........so many toys! This condo was a little boys dream! It was like it was meant for my 2 year old (Thomas, Spider Man, Cars, tractors and trucks)
