Lula Lake Falls

Chad and I took the boys hiking up on Lookout a few weeks ago. Our friends had told us how much they love Lula Lake land reserve and the falls so we figured we'd give it a shot. We got a wee bit lost but the kids were good sports and the end reward (the amazing waterfalls) were so worth it! The view from the top was breathtaking and it was an easy hike to get there but we decided to be adventurous and hike down to the bottom.... That was a little scary and a lot treacherous!

this was what it looked like where you hike down, straight down!!!

Made it to the bottom.... Andrew is tired, cold, wet and thrilled!!

Coolidge Bike Ride

Since Andrew learned to ride his bike without training wheels, that's pretty much been all he's wanted to do. Carter loves Coolidge and the fountains, so why not combine the 2?!?! We packed up a picnic, some bubbles, a frisbee and our bikes and lasted for about 2 hours..... that's more than I expected really! Just love watching them run around and have fun, no matter how long it lasts.

Graduation Party

I told Andrew that if he had a good report card and improved in some areas that he could have a Graduation Party. Well, he came through and his only request was that it be Boys Only (what other kind of party is there?) It was the most simple I've ever kept a party so there was a lot of self control involved on my part. Just the basics, cookie cake, pizza and alcohol for the moms! Oh yeah, and the Spider Man bouncer.

when the boys ran out of water for the spray guns, they resorted to using nasty creek water, seriously.

Not sure what he was saying but I love this shot!

umm, yeah, my husband is wearing a Duck Dynasty shirt. Good thing he's a hottie!

Life of the party!

Kindergarten Graduation!

My sweet Andrew graduated from Kindergarten 2 weeks ago, sniff sniff. He was so excited and had been looking forward to this day for weeks so it was a lot less emotional for me than I thought!

Every kid spoke into the microphone and said what they wanted to be when they grow up.... to our surprise Andrew said "I want to be a NCAA basketball player, GO BLUE!!"

Hugging his teacher!

Love that little embarrassed smirk!

I look at this and feel so blessed! Seriously couldn't be any cuter.
