Happy Easter 2011

Chad was on call all weekend so he had to miss the boys waking up to their Easter baskets. THe tradition at Chad's house was to search for your basket when you woke up so that's what we've decided to do with our boys. Andrew had a million questions this year and isn't really buying into the whole thing but that's just fine with me. Chad surprised us by meeting us at church and we were so excited to enjoy such a great service with him!

My Sista

My sister and her kids came to visit for the weekend and enjoy some Easter fun with us!
Andrew and Merrick were inseperable while McKenzie tried to buddy up with Carter.

My sister gave Andrew his first can of Coke, he now wants to live with her! Thanks a lot, I'll send you the dental bill, sis!

Long Lost Friends!

My friend Caroline came over with her 2 sweet girls, whom we haven't gotten to play with in forever. Our kids have been friends since in the womb and have the best time together while Caroline and I chat it up!

Dino Eggs

It's that time of year again, and since the boys are getting older, we decided to make some dinosaur eggs this year. We had our buddies Alex and Madeline over but they were more interested in cracking the eggs open and eating them! I so wish my boys would eat hardboiled eggs. After decorating their dino eggs with stickers they all decided to play in the water hose, which somehow turned into Carter spraying everyone in their shorts!

Driveway Masterpiece

The boys and I decided to finger paint one morning last week, so we invited some neighbors over to join us! They only enjoyed painting on paper for a few minutes, then the driveway became the canvas of choice, being that it is so much bigger and all! Carter preferred the red and looked like he had just fled a murder scene. The kids decided on their own to turn the water on, bring out the mops and scrub brushes and get to work cleaning, now Chad will be none the wiser!
