Going to the Dentist!

Andrew had his first trip to the dentist and did a great job! We saw Dr. Chad (his buddy Katelyn's Daddy from down the street) and he made it such a great experience for Andrew. The hygenist was wonderful with him and explained everything before you did it. I couldn't believe he layed there with his mouth wide open like such a big boy. His teeth looked great and no cavities (Yah for Mommy and Daddy doing a good job brushing!) Anyone who needs to take their kiddo to the dentist, we highly recommend Dr. Chad!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Yesterday was Chad's birthday so we had our babysitter come over and we went out to dinner. The boys had on their matching PJ's so we had to get a family picture!! I think it's funny seeing Chad holding Andrew and how much they look alike and me holding Carter and us looking alike!

Go Blue!

We all look forward to watching Univ of Michigan play on the weekends. Andrew and I know Daddy will be glued to the TV and we better be in our maze and blue! During the game Chad and Andrew play catch with the football, hi-five, scream and yell and jump up and down! It's actually pretty exciting and I have even enjoyed watching this season. Carter just sits there and can't believe he's part of this crazy family!

Andrew was having some trouble catching the ball yesterday and Chad accidentally hit him in the face about 3 times. By the end, Andrew was just closing his eyes and trying his best to catch it. He never complained, just took it like a man!
See how red his little cheeks are after being hit so many times

Happy Birthday Andrew!

Three years ago today, my sweet baby boy, Andrew was born. I love this little guy more than words can describe and I'm so lucky to have had 3 amazing years with him. He's taught me so many things like how to love unconditionally, patience, and to enjoy every minute of each day. He makes me laugh, cry, scream and want to pull my hair out all within an hour and I wouldn't change that for anything. His spirit, wit, intelligence, attitude all make me so proud that he's mine. I always knew I wanted  to be a Mommy and I couldn't have picked a more special boy to be a mother to. I love you Andrew, happy Birthday

When Andrew woke up this morning, I had the bonus room decorated with what else but..... Star Wars!!! Being a creature of habit and disliking change, he wanted them taken down at once!
This is a picture of Darth Vader hanging from the ceiling fan. He kissed it and said "love you Darth Gator" about a million times today!
I let him eat leftover birthday cake for breakfast. I had a candle in it and sang Happy Birthday and he wanted me to do it over and over (which like any great mom, I said no). That would be a lighter in his little hand, which I didn't know he had until I saw this picture.
Chad and I bought him a new Spider Man bike for his birthday. He's had the tricycle mastered for a while now and was pretty bored with it. Whenever we would go to friends' houses' he would ride on their daughters bikes (Dora and Princess) so we figured it was time for his own! He was so excited and proud, that is until he took a face plant into the mulch after crashing into a tree. I'm sure the fact that he was riding in the rain had something to do with it. I'm so mad I didn't get a picture of it, that would have been priceless! He did have his helmet on and wasn't hurt for those of you who were wondering..... Safety First!

Fireman Andrew

My friend, Marissa bought this fireman dress up kit for Andrew's birthday. I told her he was into dress-up right now and I wanted some boyish kinds of things, well she hit the jack pot!! He loves pretending to "put out fires and rescue people" and sprayed everything in the house with water today! Why in the world I filled the squirt bottle up with water for him I'll never know, maybe I was feeling generous because it's his birthday! He looked so adorable, yet a little like one of the Village People with his shorty short pajama pants! I kept waiting for him to bust out with YMCA. Thank you so much Marissa and Ella, he loves his present!

Twins?!?!

So, it's about half and half with the people who think Carter and Andrew look alike. I don't see it at all. I really think he's gonna look like ME!!! I just took these because I think it's fun to dress Carter in the same stuff that Andrew wore. The funny thing is that Andrew was 5 months in this picture (when he fit in this outfit) and Carter is 2 1/2 months and already fills it out! The best part is that this outfit was Merrick's...... 8 years ago!!

Andrew's 3rd B'Day Party!

We celebrated Andrew turning 3 at Pump It Up on Saturday. We had a "Darf Gator" party and he was so excited to have a special day all about him! He really did deserve it after the major changes he's been through these past few months with a new baby in the house! All of our closest friends were there and everyone seemed to have a great time. Andrew got so many wonderful presents and has been entertained ever since we left the party! I have to say, his favorites are the blue light up light saber (which he slept with and won't set down) and his Spider-Man costume (which he won't take off)! Guess this is a good thing since he still likes to listen to Mama Mia! Thanks to everyone who came and made this day so special for us!

Yes, I am feeding my 3 year old!

Beating the hell out of the $10 balloon I had just bought, it's now deflated on the floor. So glad I made that purchase!
