My Friend Leanne!!

Okay, this blog that I've been following for a few years "Kelly's Korner" has a Show Us Your Single Friends Friday. I have never participated but my babysitter-friend, Leanne is just too wonderful to not share! Since Kelly did this in June, there have been 2 couples get engaged and another who are very serious! Leanne is a wonderful girl and would have no problem finding someone on her own, but I thought this would just be something fun to try and I talked her into it.

Leanne is 24 years old and lives in Chattanooga, TN but is from Memphis. She is a devoted Christian and wants to find someone who loves the Lord and would be a strong spiritual leader-this is a MUST, don't even leave a comment if this doesn't apply to you :-) She has her Master's Degree, a great job and comes from a large family. She is super close to all of them (family is very important to her!) Leanne is fun, silly, loves kids and is pretty much awesome!

Let It Snow!

We accumulated a little over 6 inches of snow here in Chattanooga on Monday! I've never seen this much snow (except for a trip to WV) and it was beautiful! I think Andrew heard me saying that because now he keeps saying "I haven't seen this much snow in years!" My friend Mandi called to see if we wanted to have an indoor snow playdate at her house and I instead suggested that we go sledding with all of the other neighbors. BAD IDEA. It was such a long walk on our driving range up a huge hill. This would've been no problem for us if we didn't have 2 30 pounders who had to be carried and 2 4 year olds who cried and whined the whole time! We forced them to sled at least once since we had hiked up there, then gave in to the screaming and begging and left. Her warm house and hot chocolate were much more their style!

Here's the driving range transformed into a ski slope! It was awesome, I would have loved to play without my kids there!

 It literally looked like a blanket of snow all over, so pretty.

 It's all fun and games until someone falls in the snow!

 the best part of the day! It would have been perfect if Daddy wasn't at work.

I have found......

a lot of gray hairs since having this crazy boy!!!!!!!!!

Chad and I laugh at how his one pant leg always gets pushed up

 I let him get into the cleaning supplies so I could cook dinner, he was in heaven.......

 he's not so nice to his brother, here's the recent bite marks Carter left on Andrew

 Carter took a spill and landed on a tonka truck......

 and as if that wasn't bad enough, he fell on a Batmobile the next day

 loves the vacuum....

 and seeing if he can shock himself while plugging it in

How is it Possible...........

that I have a son this grown up??

His feet are ginormous....

 he's become so independent...

he learned to pump his legs and swing by himself this week....

 he's such a sweet caring big brother (most of the time)......

 and has developed into quite the Daddy's boy......
 They have dance parties on our bed with some of Chad's old school mixes!

 He's even been seen rubbing on Daddy's shoulders a lot lately......

 but maybe that's because he feeds him ice cream
