Big Boy Underwear
By the way, Did I mention that Andrew has been potty trained for almost 3 weeks??!?!?!?! He hasn't had any accidents since he decided he wanted to start going on the potty. He even wakes up from naps and night time DRY! Today he's decided that he doesn't want to sit down to potty (like Mommy taught him) but he wants to "stand up like Daddy". This has created quite the mess for me to clean up in the bathrooms all day!!
Bottoms Up!
Several things in this picture deserve an explanation. I was taking a bath and Andrew decided he "needed" to get in with me. He took off his shoes, pajama pants and underwear but couldn't get his shirt off. Once he realized I wasn't going to help him or let him in, he put his shoes back on (and only his shoes)! The shoes........I bought these at Old Navy (or Old Baby as Andrew calls it) and he WILL NOT take them off. He has napped/slept with them either on his feet or on his pillow for the past 3 days. He knows how to put them on and off on his own and does so constantly. When I put him to bed, I make him take them off. He'll say "Night Mommy, go downstairs", then I'll hear the velcro on the monitor as he's putting them back on. I think they're super cute, so I really don't mind, I'm just trying to teach him not to wear shoes to bed (I'm sure his future wife will thank me). Explanation #3...our landscaper, Calloway was working outside, building a retaining wall and Andrew could hear him and his workers out the window. He immediately went to grab his red stool and started banging on the window yelling "Calloween". He loves him and wants to be outside with him whenever he's here working! I'm out of the bath by this point and run to grab my camera so I can torture my child with this shot for the rest of his life!!
What Would Daddy Think
I'm already preparing myself for the comments Chad will have when he reads this post! But what little boy (or girl) doesn't love to get into their Mommy's makeup? Andrew loves to imitate everything I do as soon as I'm finished, but his favorite is the eyelash curler! I love how he has his tongue out in the last picture, that exactly what I do while putting on my eye makeup!
Upside Down
Andrew's new position of choice is upside down, and he wanted me to take pictures of him doing it this morning. He likes to hang off of the couch, bed, me, you name it.......upside down. He loves it when Chad holds him up in the air by his ankles and begs for more whole laughing his head off. He is "giving loves" to baby Carter in the first picture. He wants to talk to him a lot more lately and last night he wanted to read him a book..Awwww!! He said "Carter, come out and get you book!"
See-Saw
Andrew had this wonderful idea to bring his see-saw downstairs into the living room (from the playroom). I'm just wondering why I hadn't thought of this before considering it's hours of entertainment and I don't even have to do anything! We have no toys in our living room, or whole downstairs really, so the poor guy gets bored when Chad and I are hanging out watching TV. Now he's the one providing the entertainment!

"Mooick and Kenzie"
Andrew is absolutely crazy about his cousin, Merrick. He calls him "mooick" now and they were inseperable this weekend while my sister was here visiting. Poor McKenzie was a little left out by the boys and Andrew was so mean to her. She tried so hard to be sweet, told Andrew he was her best friend and wanted to give him hugs, but all he did was push and hit her. He isn't mean to any of his friends and I have no idea why he treats her that way, Chad says he's holding a grudge for her beating him up when he was a baby! Anyways, we had a great visit and I LOVE having my family here!

What a Life!
Monday was a beautiful day, so we spent it outside with none other than our favorite neighbors....the McCallie girls!!! We started out at our house playing in the driveway and on the swingset, then after nap, Maggie brought out the big guns.....A Bouncer!! The kids loved it for about 5 minutes, then were on to other things as usual. They mostly just love each other's company, as do Maggie and I :)
Trying to put everything into the bouncer, as if it isn't fun enough on its ownKate sharing the ladybug she found with Andrew

Busted....they wouldn't quit throwing sand, so they were both banished from the sandbox

Tee Time
Chad and I took Andrew down to the 2nd green behind our house last night so he could practice his putting! He really enjoys it now and is pretty good about letting Chad teach him. You can imagine how happy this makes his golfer Daddy! Once he decides to go play in the sand bunker, it's all over, what kid wouldn't rather be in a huge sand box though? I can't wait to see him at the beach this summer!
