Cheese!!

Happy 4th of July!!

We drove to Nashville for Andrew's first 4th of July!! We had a party at Mimi's house- where Mimi announced she is getting married- Congratulations!! We got to meet our soon to be step-brothers, etc!! We had a blast- especially with water balloons and the water hose!! Andrew was out of his element and had a very hard day- no nap and lots of screaming. Chad and I took turns driving around Bellevue so he could nap in the carseat. He was also up all night screaming for the first 2 nights- Fun fun!! He did get his other top tooth on Friday- Yeah!! So this could have been part of the problem. We were planning on getting a family photo of all of the grandkids in the red, white and blue, but obviously that didn't work out! Hope everyone had a good 4th!

Kissing Cousins!

Andrew got to spend some quality time with his big cousins- Merrick and McKenzie! Merrick loves giving Andrew love and snuggling with him and McKenzie plays the little Mama- bringing him toys, his lovy and paci. She also likes to take things away from him- like his paci and bottle! Andrew is pretty tolerant of them because he loves em' so darn much- just like me!

Daddy Day Care

Chad and Mimi watched Andrew so Dree and I could go to the movies!! Apparently he wouldn't take a nap while I was gone- so he was a little grumpy. Chad seemed to have fun playing dress-up with him though!!

Away at Last!

Chad and I went to dinner with our friends- and old neighbors- Dree and Evan!! Mimi watched Andrew while we went to Maggiano's-Yummy (Thank you so much Mimi!) We had a great time and love hanging out with them when we come into town!

Can You Get Drunk on Watermelon?!?

Chad and I took Andrew to visit his Papa and Nanny at their house in Lebanon. Andrew had a great time eating the watermelon and wanted to hold it himself so he could suck all the juice out and take big chunks!! Very He did several laps around their coffee table and tried to touch-eat-break everything he saw....including Tammy's cell phone. Of course, since they are grandparents, they said he could have anything he wanted and they didn't care if he broke it! We had a good visit- I think Andrew is warming up more and more each time!

Curly Drew!!

What is happening to my child's hair??? I can't believe all of these curls!! He looks so adorable- it has changed his whole look!! It has actually been kind of frizzy the past couple of days becasue of all the humidity and rain...just like his momma!!
