Funny Face

This is one of the many new silly faces that Andrew makes!! He does this while snorting -and thinks he is so funny while doing it! He mainly does this while eating, running away from me or looking at me from across the room- like come and get me!

July Showers!

We had an awesome family day today- just the 3 of us!! We played on the swings, ate ice cream and splashed in the sprinklers at the Aquarium! Andrew wasn't so sure at first and didn't even really want his feet in, but by the end was soaked and lovin' it!! I sat him down in the sprinklers by the end and he just had a blast! I had forgotten how much fun it is to be a kid!!! He also took his first real shower with me this morning- Chad brought him in there to me while I was showering. He loved sticking his hands and face in it and screamed when we took him out. Sorry- no pictures- didn't want to scare everyone with post-baby body and Alice Cooper eye makeup all over my face!!

Little Piece of Heaven

Chad has been dying to give Andrew ice cream for a while now, and I finally caved! I talked to my sister before we went out today and when I told her we were going for ice cream she said- you need to give Andrew some.....so everyone seemed to think it was okay but me. I had terrible eating habits growing up- and still do. I am so scared that Andrew will turn out the same way that I'm trying to set a good example and not start out giving him junk. Well, I know I need to lighten up- a little bit won't hurt him!! He did love it- he really looks like he is in love with the ice cream- Cake Batter with Cookie Dough (my favorite)!!!

Good Day........Sunshine!!

We also went to the park on the Riverfront so Andrew could swing! The plastic swing was hot so we put a blanket on it...if you're wondering what he's sitting on. He had so much fun- thanks to his silly Daddy!!

Beaver Baby!!

Andrew has decided to start eating the wood on his crib- Yeah! I have always wondered why they sold those rail covering for the crib at Babies R Us- now I know! Of course- Chad is worried that he will get lead poisoning- even though lead paint hasn't been used since the 1970's, and I am just ticked that he is tearing up the crib! The funniest part of this is that I did the same thing as a baby- in addition to eating the wooden window seals and tops of the wooden dining room chairs- I guess we are both part beaver!!

Diaper Duty!

I heard Andrew wake up after nap this morning, but he didn't cry....he was just playing and blowing bubbles so I figured I would leave him in there until he fussed. Well, 30 minutes later I had to get him up to get ready to leave....... and look what I found. He had picked apart his diaper and was sooooo proud of himself!! There was wet (urine soaked) stuffing all over the bed, and he was trying to eat it- Yuck. I guess I know better now than to put him to bed without pants on!! The funnies part of this is that my mom used to tell me how I did this and the babysitter would get so mad about it- Just like his Momma!!!

Pimp My Ride!

We took Andrew to Babies R Us and let him pick out a jogging stroller!! This was the one he begged for....so we just had to buy it!! Also, everyone who knows me, knows how much I love to jog and get sweaty!! Actually we just got one because it is more practical for walking in our neighborhood...and makes a great fashion statement since everyone else has one!!!
