My Little Model

The lady who has photographed Andrew since he was born has redone her website and used some of Andrew's pictures on it!! I have put it as one of my links- Irwin Photography. He is the second picture that shows up when you enter the site and there are 3 pictures of him under the Baby Gallery! Also, my friends Lara, Maggie and Caroline's kids are on there too!! Andrew has lots of good looking girlfriends to choose from!

Bed Head

Look at this hair would ya' I love it.....it makes Andrew look so unique, especially with those big blue eyes!! I hope he keeps these curls forever!! I am having trouble managing it now though, I'm having to brush it then wet it to get out the frizz, thank goodness he has a momma with frizz of her own who knows what to do with it!!

Look Who's Walkin'

Andrew started walking on Monday!!!... At 11 1/2 months. He still reverts back to crawling a lot because it gets him where he wants to go faster, but he is getting the hang of it. We are having lots of falls and bruises right now, but that's all part of it I guess. I am so proud of my little man, and he gets so excited when he walks! I yell yeah and he yells aaaaaa!!! I am having trouble catching a good picture of him doing it though, these were the best I could get!

First Trip to the Zoo!

We went to the zoo for the first time today with our friends Caroline and Amelia. The kids weren't nearly as excited about the animals as we were, but they enjoyed being outside anyways! My boy wanted down on the ground the whole time, so I let him, and he ended up with dirty black feet and shorts, eating mulch and almost a cigarette butt..Uck! In the first picture if you look past Andrew's reflection, that's a monkey (well, it has another name, but I can't remember). I love this weather, if anyone needs me until winter comes I will be outside somewhere so call my cell phone!!

Puppy Love!!

Chad and I found this huge puppy dog for Andrew at Sam's Club. Andrew's face lit up and he started squealing whenever he saw it.....so we just had to buy it for him!! I know he's spoiled, but if you could have only seen his face, then he layed on it in the shopping cart the rest of the time in Sam's...Precious! Anyways, whenever I say "Andrew where's your puppy dog?", he goes right to it and jumps on top of it! It's really amazing how many words this kid understands now, guess I need to tone down the sailor talk!

Flyin' High!

My little boy LOVES his swingset! He is having the best time on this thing, and is out there at least 2 times a day!! I love his face in the last picture- he looks like Oh *#@*, I don't know about going this high!

Labor Of Love!!

Chad and I bought Andrew a swing set for his birthday. We got several estimates for having is assembled, but decided it would be best for Chad and my dad to do it themselves. My dad drove here from Nashville, and he and Chad spent 9 solid hours putting it together....and they still like each other!!!! They worked soooooo hard and never even took a break. They worked until 10:30pm and had to use a work light to see what they were doing, then my dad drove back to Nashville the same night. I can't even describe how proud of them I am. I love looking at the swing set and knowing that every bolt, screw and washer was put in by my favorite men just because they love Andrew so much!! The swing set actually has meaning to it, and I can't wait to tell Andrew that his Daddy and Papa put it together. I'm sure we'll make lots of great memories on it!! I remember when we first moved in and I said I wanted a swing set and sandbox for Andrew, Chad said "You can just take him to the park for that, I don't want to kill the grass with all of that stuff". Well, after he saw how happy Andrew was on the swings at the park- he didn't even think twice! He actually sprayed weed killer on the grass all under the swing set, layed down tarp, then mulch, and made a sandbox.........Now that's love!!!
