We were hanging out on the screened in porch when it started to pour. My boys decided to go out and play light sabers in the middle of it, which is highly unusual for them (especially Andrew). I'm sure it had something to do with Grandma Bonnie being here and wanting to show off for she and Daddy. They begged Chad to come out there with them and it didn't take long until he was in on the fun!

Bye Bye Baby Teeth
My big boy had a BIG milestone last week.... he lost his first tooth! I'm not sure who was most excited, me or him! He worked so hard on getting it out, like eating apples and corn on the cob for weeks! Then after he started asking me to pull it out, I had to tell him I would take half of his tooth fairy money since I HATE pulling teeth. He quickly changed his mind and here you go.....
He (and Carter) left the sweetest notes for the tooth fairy... Carter had the babysitter transcribe for him and ask that she bring his "brover, wots of money"
He loves his new smile... so do I!!!!

Happy 4th Birthday Carter!
The morning of Carty's birthday, he woke up to presents from Andrew, mom and dad.
Andrew bought him Iron Man Mickey and a movie.
SO excited to be 4! He wanted his picture made with everything he opened!
Daddy gave him a roll of thin mints from his special stash that he thinks no one knows about!
He was a little embarrassed when we were singing Happy Birthday! He had to act crazy afterwards to counteract the good attention!
At home, opening presents from friends at the party

Summer Fun
Summer has been great so far! We're trying to stay outside as much as we can and enjoy the sunshine!
Our sweet friend-babysitter, Leanne moved to Colorado 2 years ago and lives-works on a ranch. SHe sent the boys a package in the mail (for no reason, as Carter says) and they were so excited! They have lived in these T Shirts ever since!
Mary Margaret's BDay party! Carter was the last man standing on the waterslide and Andrew was a good sport to play on it for a few minutes!

Lula Lake Falls
Chad and I took the boys hiking up on Lookout a few weeks ago. Our friends had told us how much they love Lula Lake land reserve and the falls so we figured we'd give it a shot. We got a wee bit lost but the kids were good sports and the end reward (the amazing waterfalls) were so worth it! The view from the top was breathtaking and it was an easy hike to get there but we decided to be adventurous and hike down to the bottom.... That was a little scary and a lot treacherous!
this was what it looked like where you hike down, straight down!!!
Made it to the bottom.... Andrew is tired, cold, wet and thrilled!!
